The SEO formula for achieving good rankings in search engine results is pretty tried and true at this point. Although nobody knows the exact google or yahoo search enging algorithms, there are a few SEO goals that are pretty widely accepted.
1) Content, Content, Content. Everyone has heard it before. Build a robust, authorative site that users will like. They will give you links and search engines will value the breadth of information on your site.
2) Link building. The currency of the internet. More good links from relevant, authorative sites equal better rankings.
3) On site Optimization - Make sure the search engines understand what your site is all about and that the website correctly targets the right key word terms.
So just about everyone knows the principles of SEO. Although, the proof is in the pudding. Some know it better than others. It is how someone builds links, generates content and does on site optimization that seperates the men from the boys so to speak. Recently, we've noticed some Las Vegas bail bonds websites doing a lot of work in the SEO department. Not only are we seeing them crank out content, but also using some of our favorite link building strategies as well.
This means the competition has arrived and the games are about to begin. This should be very interesting to see who prevails in the Las Vegas bail bonds SEO battle.

Las Vegas Bail Bonds Website On The Rise
We've been working on the Las Vegas Bail Bonds Group website for a few months now. Putting a lot of time and effort into it over the past month. The work is starting to pay off. We've jumped from Page 9 for the three most important key word terms to page 2 or 3 in the SERP's. We are concentrating on adding content and generating articles. Although there is some debate how effective adding content is for google. Bing and Yahoo seem to care less about size of sites as they do the actual content. It seems as though they are ranking a page, not a site so the amount of pages is irrelevant. Google claims the same, but the proof is in the pudding. Many, including me, still believe google factors in the amount of content and pages a website has when ranking an individual page. (By the way, we are #1 for our most important key word term on Yahoo and #3 with Bing!).

A New Era For Bail Bonds
Bail bonds are an interesting industry. Bail bonds and the local bail bondsman have been fixtures of the American legal system seemingly since the beginning. The bail bondsmen that have been successful have leveraged marketing and relationships to drive their business. Accepting collect phone calls from holding cells, relationships with attorneys and plastering a bail bonds firm name on anything and everything was a tried and true method to generating business. Albeit a very expensive and time consuming one. With the advent of the internet, bail bonds advertising and marketing has proliferated online. PPC adveristing, SEM and SEO have influenced bail bond purchases and the bondsmen supplying them. The interesting thing is that the utilization of SEO amongst bail bondsmen varies significantly. In some markets, we see very well optimized, high PR websites. In other markets, poorly constructed single page websites are enough to get top rankings in SERP's. SEO in the bail bonds industry will become an increasing important part for any bail bondsman trying to grow their business. The trends and statistics are too hard to ignore. Some local markets are already getting 5,000-10,000 monthly searches for bail bonds related terms. While some bail bondsmen choose to market via PPC, some ads are over $20 CPC. Bail bonds SEO will of course have to be a consideration when looking at an overall marketing strategy.
